• 1.3 Butanediol is soluble in water, acetone, methyl/ethyl ketone, ethanol, dibutyl phthalate, castor oil, almost insoluble in aliphatic hydrocarbons, benzene, toluene, carbon tetrachloride, ethanolamines, mineral oil, and flaxseed oil.
• 1, 3-butanediol has the characteristics of dibasic alcohol reactivity, odorless, good water solubility, etc., has good moisturizing properties, and feels smooth. Commonly used in lotions, perfumes, hair dyes, shampoos, etc.
